At present, we are providing our exclusive range of “Baseline Bolt” branded shear plates.
Our shear plate wood connectors are meant largely for wood-to-wood or wood-to-steel connections in structures that are demountable and when they are used in pairs. These plates generally spread the load along with reducing the number of bolts needed.
In addition, shear plates are used for attaching columns to footings via steel straps, connecting steel gusset plates, transferring loads in bowstring trusses and for various other steel to wood connections, especially in timber structures.
