As per ASTM specifications, most of the high strength rods & anchor bolts demand permanent grade identification; also, the registered logo of the manufacturer must be stamped on one end. At Baseline Bolt, we make use of hydraulic stamping equipment to identify high strength products on a permanent basis.Swedging
Swedging involves placing indentations in the anchor bolt’s unthreaded end which will further be embedded in concrete. At BBI, we use exclusive hydraulic swedging equipment in order to produce these components. Varied engineering firms & State Transportation Departments have specific requirements with regards to the size, placement and depth of the indentations.
